ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 19 -- Frank Martinez of La Canada, Calif., and Paul Kevin Toth of Daly City, Calif., have developed a distributed web services network architecture.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to "methods, apparatuses and systems facilitating deployment, configuration and maintenance of web services networks. The present invention features a distributed web services network architecture that, in one embodiment, leverages the functionality of existing network infrastructure to provide a low cost, efficient and reliable web services solution. The web services network architecture according to the present invention can be implemented across any suitable computer network, including an intranet or the Internet."
The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,296,061 on Nov. 13.
The patent has been assigned to Blue Titan Software Inc., San Francisco.
